Wedding photos at The Beverley Barn Beverley East Yorkshire

When Olga and David met with us on Skype we were able to show them some of our previous Weddings, they knew what they wanted and they were clear they wanted us to document their wedding, it´s such an honour when people are so sure but also makes you feel even more of a responsibility.

We were delighted to share with them such a special day. As the months progressed they told us more about their wedding so that everything was prepared.

Russian – Spanish wedding

It was a Russian – Spanish wedding that would be a delight of all of us who were present. The Wedding was located on the outskirts of the beautiful market town of Beverley, East Yorkshire. When we got there, the Wedding Planner, Laura from Grupo Adaya told us the finer details, it was going to be a full day without stopping and giving everything we had. We started with the preparations for both O & D, they were getting ready in rooms that were very close to each other, this makes it a lot easier. The ceremony, held under the trees, in a quite entertaining way. The translation from Russian to Spanish and vice versa doubled all those emotional parts of the ceremony, making everyone cry twice as much.

Those tears were the predominant note of the ceremony, remembering great moments and enjoying the emotions that those moments transported them to.

The RED THREAD of fate

The RED THREAD of fate, is commonly thought of as an invisible red cord around the finger of those that are destined to meet one another in a certain situation as they are “their true love”, this ritual that we love for its meaning, it is not the first time we’ve seen it at a Wedding, it always makes our hair stand on end.

Both families live far away, it was obvious that neither family or friends would let distance get in their way of sharing this great day. We love that distance is never an excuse to be with the people you love, especially at times like these and even more so, with it being so intimate and special.

After the ceremony, we did a few portraits with the couple while the guests had time to enjoy the cocktail before the Wedding Breakfast.

Afterwards, the emotions continued to flourish and everyone began to enjoy a night full songs, dancing, throwing David and Olga into the air, even a bull that scared more than one, music and much, much fun. It was so much fun that we couldn’t stop shooting! What an incredible day, even the bride and groom ended up ankle deep in water.

We have no words to express our appreciation to this incredible couple.
